Master Service
Care & Repair
A tasbih carried for years will eventually break its cord, wear through its tassel or lose its shine. We repair all of it: send the piece to our base and we will decide which master should take it on — and you don't need to have bought it from us.
What We Do
Restringing
A broken or stretched cord is removed, replaced and the beads restrung. Every bead is checked individually as we go; if we find a crack, we tell you before continuing.
Tassels and Kazaz Braiding
Worn tassels are renewed and kazaz braiding is rewoven by hand. We match the existing tassel's colour and length exactly, or switch to a different style if you prefer.
Polishing
Dulled amber and natural stone surfaces go back through the seven-stage polish. Scratches come out and the bead's own lustre returns.
How It Works
Get It to Us
Post it to our base in Zeytinburnu, Istanbul. Please send it in its box and well packed.
Repair and Return
Once the work is done we photograph the piece for your approval, then pack it with the same care and send it back to you. Depending on the workload, this takes between 2 business days and one week.
Frequently Asked Questions
Will you repair beads bought elsewhere?
We will. We service any tasbih regardless of where it came from. Only with rare stones or antique pieces do we walk you through the possible risks before starting.
How long does a repair take?
Restringing and tassel replacement usually finish within 2 business days. Kazaz braiding, imame repair and polishing can take up to a week. We confirm the exact time once we've seen the photos.
How is the price set?
It depends on the work and the materials involved. We quote you a firm price once we've seen the photos, and we never start without your approval.
Can you replace a broken bead?
We can. If a bead of the same stone and size is in our stock or at the master's bench, we match it exactly. We'll tell you in advance if a slight difference in tone is likely.
Can I have a name or engraving added?
We do engraving and gold leaf work on the imame. We're happy to share examples and prices on WhatsApp — note that bespoke work of this kind falls outside the return policy.
