Prayer Bead Materials

Our collection includes prayer beads made from different material groups. The product type and material are stated clearly for each model. Commercial materials such as Turkish Sıkma, Fire Sıkma and Rod Sıkma are not presented as genuine natural amber. We do not use technical material claims for any product unless the raw material has been confirmed by the supplier.

Material Groups in the Collection

The Sıkma Series

Turkish Sıkma, Fire Sıkma and the Rod Series are commercial product groups sold under these names in the Turkish market. They are not genuine natural amber and are not presented as such.

Toz Kehribar and Beirut Drop

Light commercial series produced in a range of colours and shapes. Both are commercial product groups; neither falls into the fossil or genuine natural amber category.

Kuka and the Tortoiseshell Pattern

Kuka is a natural plant-based material. The tortoiseshell-pattern series uses a modern commercial material inspired by the tortoiseshell look; no real tortoiseshell is used.

How We Handle Material Information

01

We Write What It Is

Every product name and specification block states the material group. Each product page also carries a material note: it says which commercial group the product belongs to and what is not being claimed.

02

No Unverified Claims

Technical material names such as “natural amber”, “Faturan”, “bakelite” or a specific resin type are not used unless confirmed by the supplier. We describe each product by the commercial series name used in the market, and add material detail to the product page as it is confirmed.

03

Care and Storage

Keep the strand away from perfume, detergent and direct sunlight. A soft damp cloth is enough for cleaning; chemical polish damages the surface. Store it in its pouch, in a dry place, when not in use.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is Turkish Sıkma genuine natural amber?

No. Turkish Sıkma is a commercial product group sold under that name in the Turkish market, and it is not presented as genuine natural amber. The same applies to the Fire Sıkma and Rod Series.

What exactly is the product made of?

The specification block states which commercial material group the product belongs to. We do not publish the technical composition of the raw material until it is confirmed by the supplier; as it is confirmed, the detail will be added to the product page.

Is the tortoiseshell-pattern series real tortoiseshell?

No. It is a series produced in a modern commercial material that recalls the tortoiseshell pattern; no real tortoiseshell is used in these products.

What do “gold leaf” and “alpaca” mean here?

“Gold-leaf-look” describes the decorative appearance; no claim is made that real gold leaf is used. “Alpaca” refers to the silver-look metal details on the product; the beads themselves are not alpaca.
