Beirut

Beirut beads — also called "Beirut amber" or "Beirut drop" — are not fossil drop amber. They are made from a quality, specially formulated synthetic resin blend, and they take their name from how closely they resemble drop amber. They are not the same thing as cheap plastic or acrylic.

As you pull them, the warmth of the hand brings out a light, pleasant pine-resin scent. With use the colour settles, the shine deepens and the pull becomes more satisfying.

They are hard-wearing enough for daily pulling, for stress relief and for carrying in a pocket — an honest price-to-performance piece with the feel of drop amber.
