We decide which material group a model belongs to and which workshop it comes from. Colour, sizing and surface standards are set before the batch is prepared.

Craftsmanship and Production
The collection brings together series-produced models and models carrying hand-finished details. Engraved imame work, kazaz braiding, tassel tying and final stringing are done by hand, which is why no two pieces of the same model are identical. We do not claim that every bead is shaped individually by hand — we state which step is hand-finished for each product group.
Which Steps Are Done by Hand
Engraved Imame
The motifs on the imame are worked by hand. Because the work is manual, the patterns are never identical from piece to piece.
Stringing and Tying
Tassel, headpiece and final stringing are completed by hand; thread tension and flow are checked bead by bead.
Final Inspection
Every incoming batch goes through sample inspection at our base. Pieces with faulty stringing, off sizing or surface defects are set aside.
The Production Process
Production and Workmanship
In the commercial series the beads are produced as a series; engraved imame work, kazaz braiding, tassels and stringing are completed by hand. Which step is hand-finished varies by product group.
Stringing and Final Check
The beads are ordered for colour harmony and strung; imame, discs, headpiece and tassel are tied on. In the final check the strand is taken in hand, its turn and sound assessed; if there is a fault the strand is undone and restrung.
Frequently Asked Questions
Is every product handmade?
No. The beads in the commercial series are series-produced; the hand work is mainly in the engraved imame, kazaz braiding, tassel and stringing stages. We state which step is hand-finished for each product group.
How long does an order take to prepare?
It depends on the model and the quantity. Orders met from stock go out quickly; for models not in stock the lead time depends on quantity and material and is given with the quotation.
Do you make custom sizes and personalised pieces?
Not at the moment. We plan to offer custom model production and made-to-order details such as bead diameter, bead count, imame form and tassel in the period ahead; these services are not active yet. For now you can choose from our ready collection — get in touch for the current options.
What if the string breaks or a bead is lost?
We stand behind every piece you buy from us: restringing, tassel replacement and missing beads are handled by us and carried out at the master workshops we work with. Email us a photo and you will get the process and cost the same day.
